It's 08:25 and I'm finally lying down after a satisfying trip to the mandi. We landed in Karachi a couple of days ago to celebrate this year's Eid here. There's ronak everywhere, every street is decorated with spacious tents and bright lights. Pakistan is the only place you can get the authentic Eid experience; no other country can replicate this jubilant atmosphere.
We left for Jameel Memon at around 02:00 and reached one hour later. As soon as we got off the car, all the tiredness from the ride drained away. The place was buzzing with excitement and adventure. There was a calm cacophony of cows mooing and people talking. The aroma of manure overpowered my olfactory senses. Each cattle farm had something unique to offer. We continuously walked for more than two hours but our eagerness didn't let us feel exhausted. Finally, we struck a deal and we were on our way back. The sunlight was permeating through the smoggy clouds and the streets were relatively empty. We arrived home at around 06:00 and we were done with the unloading process by 07:00. Afterward, I took a thorough cold shower and changed into my nightwear.
It was a good day Alhumdulillah.
Take care and enjoy!
