General Update

Today, I am not posting any poem. I just wanted to write my heart out, that does not mean I want to vent/rant, it's sort of an update on what's going with me.

The day before yesterday I started reading Pir-E-Kamil and yesterday I finished it. I was completely mesmerized by it. No other book has had such an impact on me personally. I hope that the change this book has brought into my life stays on forever. It forced me to reevaluate my own actions and how I am as a person. I am not exacerbating but the book has made me come closer to Islam. It's been just a day, let's see how it goes.

A couple of hours ago I was rewatching a movie at the cinemas: 18 x 2 Beyond Youthful Days. It's a Taiwanese/Japanese movie. I think I will remember it for a long time to come. I found it so calming and cinematic. It made me wish that I could experience the emotions I was watching and also visit those places. The movie hugged me tightly. InshaAllah I will eventually find the one with whom I will rewatch all these sorts of movies and make memories with her.
