Love In Daily Life - I

I wrote this on 21 January, 2024. It's not a poem, but a script. I wanted to showcase how love can exist without over the top efforts and actions. Love is all around us in our daily life, we just have to notice it.

He is looking for something in the drawers

She is lying on the bed and reading a book

Her: Kya dhund rahe hain aap?

Him: Kuch nahi aaj main bukhar ki dawai laaya tha woh nahi mil rahi

Her: Kyon kya hua?

Him: Kuch nahi bas halka sa bukhar hogaya tha tau isliye pharmacy se dawai liyaya tha

Her: Idhar aaien ek min

He goes to her and sits on the bed

She puts the book down and puts her back of the hand on his head

Her: ITNA TEZ BUKHAAR ho raha hai aapko tau aur aapne bataya bhi nahi. Aap foran letein main dawai laati hoon aur vicks lagati hoon

She gets up from the bed

Him: Isliye main tumhe nahi bata raha tha tum fuzool main itni tension leleti ho, araam se book parh rahi thin parhti raho. Yeh dawai pata nahi kidhar gayab hogai warna tumhe nahi batata. Tum ab pareshaan hogain

Her: Aap ne mujhe pehle bataya kyon nahi jaise hi shuru hua tha bukhaar

Him: Are aaj hi shuru hua tha aur mujhe batana acha nhai laga ajeeb, tum araam se chill kar rahi ho aur main aake bolun ke meri dawai laao, acha nahi lagta

Her: Aap bas let jaaien

He lies down on the bed

She comes back with dawai, vicks and haldi waala doodh

Her: Yeh lein yeh haldi waala doodh piyen aur iske saath dawai lein aur iske baad foran sojaien

He starts drinking the milk

Her: Aur aap yeh fuzool baatien sochna na band kardien. Ab aapki shaadi hochuki hain aur main aapki biwi hoon aapka haq banta hai meri attention seek karna. Aur ab main jab bemaar hongi main tau hichkichaungi nahi bhai, aapko bhi mera aise hi khayal rakhna hoga.

He smiles and tries to say something

Her: Nahi bas ab aap sojaien kal baat karenge InshaAllah.

She puts her hand on his forehead and recites dua. Then she puts the comforter on him and turns off the light
