Kaafi din guzaarliye logon ke saaye mein

Kaise hain hum janne ke liye unki raaye mein

Ab thak gaye hain kadam logon ke peeche bhaagte

Aankhien bhi thin nam soye jaagte

Banalia tha unko sab kuch apne liye

Nahi thay hum kuch bhi jinke liye

Agaya hai ab apna zamana

Ab hum hoke jiyenge fiqrana

Na aas rahegi ab kisi ko paane ki

Na afsos rahega kisi ko khone ka

Kisi ki zaroorat nahi ab khushion ke liye

Main hi hoon mehfil apni mastion ke liye

Jo likha hai woh mil hi jaayega

Ab kisi beqadar ke sabab koi dukh na aayega

Bas apne hi nakhre uthaaonga ab

Khwaieshien puri karoonga apni sab

Meri hi hasi se chehkega yeh jahan

Khushnuman hoga ab har sama
