Assalamualaikum, I'm back in Pakistan for bakra eid again. Like last year, while everyone else is busy with their gaaien and bakras, I'm here walking on my chhat alone. I like these late night walks, they're peaceful and silent. The weather gets pleasant with the wind blowing softly.

Whenever I visit Pakistan I get this strange hope that this time I will finally find someone. Even I'm not sure who I want.

Hopefully these late night walks will inspire me to come up with a new poem InshaAllah, it's been a long time since I wrote one.
