I didn't have any person in mind when I wrote this poem. This poem describes how everything related to me needs her.



Dhadkanon ko teri kehkahien chaiyeh dhadak ne ke liye, dil nahi

Saanson ko tere lab chaiyeh hain bhar ne ke liye, hawa nahi

Ashkon ko tere kandhe chaiyeh hain behne ke liye, aankhien nahi

Nafs ko teri zulf chaiyeh hai panah ke liye, jism nahi

Baahon ko teri hadien chaiyeh hain tootne ke liye, bekhudi nahi

Raahon ko tere qadam chaiyeh hain teherne ke liye, manzil nahi

Yaadon ko tera ahsaas chaiyeh hai aane ke liye, lamhe nahi

Hasrat ko teri muskaan chaiyeh mitne ke liye, dolat nahi

Shaamo ko tera saath chaiyeh dhalne ke liye, shab nahi

Mujh ko teri raza chaiyeh hai nijaat ke liye, maut nahi
